How it all started
Last spring, two friends came together to discuss how much they enjoy to bake and how they struggled to find the time to do so. Sitting in a kitchen together, they played around with some family bread recipes. Throughout the afternoon, as they talked about how they liked to bake for family and friends, and how many of their friends wished they had time to do so as well, it became clear that there must be a way to make baking accessible to all. After much laughter about how they would be covered in flour all day long if they baked fresh bread for everyone they knew, an idea came to them: Why not help others bake for themselves? And so the idea was born: Organic, delicious, nutritious, easy-to-make baking mixes that only require water and a loaf pan. Who doesn’t love the smell of freshly-baked bread coming out of the oven? Especially when it’s so easy to make. Artisan bread meets modern-day life.
